Paraphrase

As my vision continued I saw and I heard a representative of God’s creation that sees everything going on, flying through the highest part of the sky, from where it can see everything. It was saying with a loud voice, “Watch out! Watch out because you’ve got it coming to you, oh, you who dwell on the earth, pay attention to the

remaining messages of warning to be delivered by the complete compliment of messengers who are about to deliver their messages of warning.”

Footnotes

1

“Vulture” can mean either “eagle or vulture,” but in this case a vulture seems to fit best, for the vulture was a symbol of doom and death.

2

“Woe” was used as either a denunciation, a warning of pending danger, or an expression of grief. In this case it is a warning of pending doom.
