Translation
Moreover, I say to the rest of you who are in Thyatira,
to all of you
who do not hold to this teaching, who have not come to know the depths of SATAN

Paraphrase
Moreover, I say to the rest of you who are facing the opposition of economic pressure, to all of you who do not hold to this teaching, who have not come to know those things that come from GOD’S ADVERSARY which some people call ‘the deep secrets,’ ‘I will not place on you any other burden than this,

It is obvious that the people who call these things the “deep things,” “deeper things,” “deep truths,” or the “deep secrets,” are not going to say that they are from Satan. Jesus, in His words to John, is making that clear. So in my translation I have separated the fact that they originate with Satan, from what some people call them. A literal translation of the Greek would be, “Who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say.” The idea of “deep secrets” is more specific than “deep things” and is a bit of an assumption, but it is a very safe assumption, for that is how they referred to these things in their literature. Therefore, I have placed “deeper things” in my translation, and “deep secrets” in the paraphrase.
