and the light of one lamp will not shine
Go to footnote numberin you any longer, and the voice of a bridegroom and a bride
will not be heard in you any longer, because, by your use of sorcery,
Go to footnote numberall the nations have been deceived, and your merchants were the great merchants of the earth,

and there will no longer be any hope in you, and there will be no cause for celebration, moments of intimacy and happiness, or anticipation of generations to come in you any longer.
This will come about because, by your effective use of sorcery, everyone, everywhere has been deceived, demonstrated by the fact that those who did business with you were the big hitters, the most powerful businessmen on earth,

The Greek does not have an article here, thus is means “a lamp” rather than “the lamp” which would be a reference to lamps in general. “A lamp” in this case means, “not even one lamp.”
2: “sorcery”
This Greek word sounds like our English word for “Pharmacy” and we get our words built on “pharma” from this word. It had to do with the “administration of medicines, drugs and poisons, many of which were tied to the practices of sorcery (black magic).” It is the idea of sorcery that is in focus here along with its purpose, which has always been to deceive. Thus it is not referring to the modern pharmaceutical companies, unless they are “big-hitters” that are involved in deceiving the people on a large scale. Even if you think they qualify under that definition, they are not alone, all those with major influence who are involved in deceiving the people are intended here, and I suggest that modern pharmaceutical companies are at most, a very small piece of that pie. There is no need to freak out thinking that the pharmaceutical companies will be a fulfillment of Revelation.
