Then the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel and ponder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast carrying her, the beast which has
seven heads
and ten horns.

Then the angel said
to me, “Why do you marvel
and ponder? I will tell you
the underlying meaning of the woman and ferocious creature
controlling her, the ferocious creature with plenty of power to make decisions and do whatever it wants to do and
all the legal authority it needs to quell all opposition.
