Revelation16:7

And I heard the altar saying,

“Yes LORD,

GOD

ALMIGHTY true

and just are your judgments.”

And I heard the instrument for staying connected to God saying, “Yes SUPREME RULER, CREATOR AND OWNER OF ALL THINGS, THE ALMIGHTY ONE, true and just are your judgments.”

The altar “knows” what is required for a close relationship with God; it also knows when those requirements have not been met, and thus it is able to confirm that God’s judging is just.
