And an angel of the LORD stood beside them, and the glory of
the LORD shown around them, and they
feared with great fear.
Paraphrase
And suddenly a messenger from THE SUPREME RULER was standing there beside them, and the glory of THE SUPREME RULER illuminated everything around them, and they were afraid beyond words.
