The inclusion of a quote from David was intended as reference to him without using his name. In a discussion of the Messiah, any reference to David was seen as important because the Messiah had to come from the line of David. This was a confirmation that prophecy was being fulfilled.
2: “peace”
Jesus would also be called the “Prince of Peace.”
