Turning, Peter sees following [them] the disciple whom Jesus loved , the one who had reclined at the evening meal on His chest and said “Lord, who is he that is betraying you?”
Paraphrase
Turning around, Peter saw someone following them close enough to hear what they were saying. It was John.
