This is a calamity that is in everything that is done under the sun: This one fate happens to all. Moreover, the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that [they go] to the dead.
Paraphrase
This is the calamity that influences everything that is done here on earth: One fate awaits us all. What’s more, men’s hearts are full of evil and they do stupid stuff all their lives, and then, they die!
