Troublesome Topic: Satan’s Voice or My Twisted Mind?

It does not matter if the voice I am hearing in my head is Satan’s voice or my twisted mind. If there is a difference between God’s will as expressed in His word, and the thoughts that are popping into our minds, it does not matter where those thoughts come from. Those thoughts must be rejected because they run contrary to Scripture. If they originate within us that does not somehow make them better than if they come directly from Satan. A temptation is a temptation wherever it comes from.
