After this I heard something like the great rumble of a vast multitude in heaven shouting, “Hallelujah!

“Praise the Lord! Salvation and glory and power belong to THE CREATOR AND OWNER OF ALL THINGS, whom we serve,

“Hallelujah” means “Praise the Lord,” specifically “Praise YHVH.” However, its meaning is not so much a command to praise the Lord, but a statement that He is worthy of such praise. In that way the word “Hallelujah” is itself a statement of praise.
